Delfin impact executives

Delfin is a Dutch executive search company that appoints senior leaders, describing the people it places as impact executives who point an organisation towards its future. Its work is concentrated at the top of the organisation chart rather than spread across all levels, and it presents itself as a partner for organisations preparing for what comes next rather than simply filling a vacancy that exists today.

Delfin runs four connected practices. Executive Search covers permanent senior appointments. Interim Management supplies experienced leaders for defined periods or transitions. Toezicht covers supervisory and non executive appointments, including supervisory board and audit roles, which Delfin is explicit is not a sideline position but a proper function that develops continuously. Development invests in the growth of leaders already in post. Its published assignments show the range in practice: chairs of supervisory boards, business development directors, regional managers and finance and regulatory reporting leadership.

Delfin works across the Netherlands, with recent assignments in Venlo, Nuth, Echt, Heerlen, Eindhoven and Rotterdam, so its reach is national rather than confined to the Randstad. Alongside its search work it runs a Female Empowerment Experience programme and publishes articles on developments in governance and leadership. Its stated approach is to look more broadly and to choose deliberately, which for a client means a search shaped around where the organisation is heading rather than a like for like replacement of the person leaving.
