Crossdale Search

Crossdale Search is a boutique legal and compliance executive search firm based in New York. It recruits attorneys and compliance professionals for in-house and law firm positions, and takes on both retained and contingent searches. It describes a "whole person/whole organization" approach, which looks at the culture and vision of each client as well as the needs and goals of each candidate.

Carol Crossdale is the founder and CEO. She holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, is a former big-law and in-house attorney, and has nearly two decades of legal and compliance recruiting experience. She began her legal career as a corporate associate at Davis Polk before moving in-house to PepsiCo. Melissa James is the firm's Director of Recruiting.
