Criterion Search Group is a boutique executive search firm. It says it has recruited and placed executives at non-profit organizations, foundations and public charities nationally since 1997, and that it has placed hundreds of candidates in a variety of organizations, both in Philadelphia and across the nation.

Beth Hare is President and Founder. She says she manages every step of each search personally, supported by a staff of three. Searches include executive director, president and CEO, chief of staff, chief financial officer and director of development roles. Its stated areas of expertise are foundations, charities, higher education organizations, financial services firms, investment firms, corporate human resources departments, pharmaceutical firms, technology firms and insurance firms.

The firm also serves as Talent Advisor for commissioner and cabinet level positions in the Mayor Cherelle L. Parker Administration, City of Philadelphia. It works with both employers filling a position and candidates considering a career move.
