Creative Alignments is a recruiting firm that charges by the hour under a model it calls Time-Based Recruiting, rather than taking a commission. Peggy Shell founded the company in 2010. It describes itself as a fractional in-house recruiting team and says it hires for all functions and levels, including executive roles. It also offers executive recruiting and outplacement.

The firm focuses on natural products and consumer packaged goods, technology and climate and sustainability, and also recruits in other industries. It says it helps scaling companies that make an impact through mission, product, positive culture, or social justice and DEI. Its stated clients include founders and CEOs scaling fast after a funding round or strong growth, VC and PE operators hiring across a portfolio, and HR and People leaders whose recruiting needs have outgrown their team.

It says its clients pay an average of 12% per hire, against 20 to 30% of first-year salary at traditional recruiters, and that it has more than 15 years of experience building teams. It says its clients include companies in North America and across the globe.
