Cox Purtell

Cox Purtell is a boutique recruitment agency based in Sydney. Jill Cox and Elisabeth Purtell opened it in 1994, and in 2005 James Purtell, Elisabeth's son, and Trish Nugent took over running the business. It says it has over 30 years of experience.

The agency recruits for corporate support roles, including HR and talent acquisition, sales and marketing, accounting and finance, and office support. It also places technology and projects staff and government staff at local, state and federal level. Insurance is among its sectors, and its specialist areas also include associations, the built environment, education and not-for-profit organisations. It fills temporary, permanent and contract roles.

Cox Purtell says it meets every candidate before putting them forward, and uses its own databases, search methods and skills testing. It holds labour hire licences in Victoria, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory.
