Coverstaff Recruitment Limited

Coverstaff Recruitment Limited is a New Zealand recruitment and staffing business supplying casual and permanent workers to industrial and office clients. It says its team has decades of experience in manufacturing, FMCG, office, warehouse and logistics work. Its candidate pool also covers food manufacturing, production, traffic control and maintenance, engineering and trades, administration, and skilled and unskilled labour. Its casual staff are employed by Coverstaff itself, which manages their pay, and it says it takes care of HR, health and safety, licences and payroll for clients.

The company was founded in East Tamaki, Auckland, which remains its flagship office. It now has branches in West Auckland, the North Shore, South Auckland, Onehunga, Petone in Wellington and Palmerston North, the last serving the Manawatū and Wairarapa regions. A management buy-out followed an approach from an Australian listed recruitment company, which kept the business New Zealand owned. Its sister company Shamrock Recruitment now trades under the Coverstaff name, and the company says it is the largest Māori-owned recruitment company in New Zealand. Greg Wells is managing director.
