Core Group Resources is a recruitment and staffing firm that places personnel for maritime, energy, shipbuilding and construction organisations in the United States and internationally. Matt Fuhrman, its founder and CEO, established the company in 2012. Its recruiting also covers mining, aerospace and aviation, technology, legal, and accounting and finance roles.

The company offers maritime and offshore crewing, executive search, direct hire for permanent positions, and contract labor on a temporary or project basis. It also has a technical services division that supplies project personnel such as engineers, inspectors and project managers, and supports decommissioning work.

Its headquarters is in Houston, Texas, with a further office in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and regional offices in Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Suriname. The company reports working with more than 600 companies and placing about 7,000 candidates.
