Copper London is a headhunting firm for the communications industry. It works with creative and media agencies in advertising, branding and digital, and fills client side roles at content and technology companies. Its clients include AKQA, the BBC, Ogilvy, TBWA and Universal Music.
The firm was founded in August 2006 and is still a partnership between its two original founders, Sonja Smithers and Celia Brasher. Smithers previously worked in advertising account handling at D'Arcy, Leo Burnett and BBH, and Brasher spent over ten years headhunting at Braverman Associates. The firm says it takes a long-term view of its relationships with clients and candidates, and prepares candidates before they meet clients.
Copper London is based in London, with an office on Riding House Street.
