Contract Professionals

Contract Professionals, Inc. (CPI) is a staffing and talent solutions company founded by Steve York, an Air Force veteran, with the aim of putting military veterans to work. It says it has served employers, civilian job seekers and military veterans since 1982, and it has since extended from its veteran recruitment origins into the mobility sector.

CPI recruits for defense and aerospace, automotive and mobility, manufacturing, logistics and supply chain, cleanroom and medical device, and data center construction and operations. It says it specialises in engineering, skilled trades, IT and program management roles across those industries. Its services include temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct hire staffing, payrolling with CPI as employer of record, statement of work projects, and executive search.

Its corporate office is in Waterford Township, Michigan, and it names Michigan, Alabama, Ohio, Texas and Virginia as the locations it serves.
