Comspek International

Comspek International is a recruitment consultancy specialising in IT and telecommunications professionals in New Zealand. It was founded in Auckland in 2001 by Don Credie, with a focus on the telecommunications sector, and describes itself as 100% New Zealand owned and operated.

Its core work is selecting management and technical engineers for telecommunications operators, vendors and associated IT service providers. It has also added software development and DevOps roles, and recruits across information and communication technology, telecommunications and business transformation. It expanded into the utilities sector in 2005, the financial sector in 2010 and New Zealand government organisations in 2012. Its clients range from small businesses to large corporate companies.

A Professional Services practice offers an alternative contingent workforce model, with outcome-based work delivered to a pre-defined statement of work. The company has offices in Auckland, opened in 2003, and Wellington, opened in 2008. It reports more than 3,000 placements and more than 400 key clients. Dan Mellon and Kamahl Connor became directors and shareholders in 2017.
