Computappoint is a London recruitment agency specialising in IT and business change roles. Founded in 1991, it places technology professionals with clients in banking and trading, legal, consulting, insurance, utilities and the not for profit sector. It fills both permanent and contract positions.

In banking and trading, the company says it works within Bank of England, FCA and PRA frameworks and has recruited into project roles covering MiFID II, EMIR, CBEST, TPRM, Operational Resilience and DORA. It also recruits for trading and payment platforms across equities, OTC derivatives, fixed income, asset management and clearing. Clients are matched with a consultant who has experience in the relevant specialism, and candidates are pre-screened and briefed on the role before being presented. The firm checks in after a placement to see that both client and candidate are happy.

Computappoint reports that it filled 95% of new client instructions in 2024, presents an average of three vetted CVs per role, and has client relationships averaging over eight years.
