Comma Partners is a recruitment company specialising in internal communications, change communications, employee engagement and employee experience. It places mid to senior-level professionals in permanent roles, fixed-term contracts and interim positions, and works with organisations large and small across the UK and Europe.

Virginia Hicks set up an interim communications business as part of Comma Consulting in 2007, then founded Comma Partners as an independent business. She moved into a Chair role in 2025. Andy Macleod is Managing Director and Lead Consultant, and Matt Gibbs is Director and Lead Consultant. Named clients include Unilever, Clifford Chance and Anglo American, as well as smaller organisations such as the National Deaf Children’s Society and The Refugee Council.

The company reports over 750 placements, a network of more than 4,000 internal communications professionals and 50 years of combined internal communications experience across its team. It says it is a certified inclusive recruiter. It also supports clients with auditing and training internal communications teams and with coaching or mentoring leaders, and hosts events including Director level roundtables.
