Coast Personnel

Coast Personnel is a staffing business focused on light industrial and commercial work. It was founded in 1987 in the greater Santa Clara region, initially placing administrative personnel with light industrial manufacturing companies, and its corporate office is in Santa Clara, California. It joined the TPS family of companies in 2012.

The company recruits for light industrial, manufacturing, distribution and warehousing, food processing, electronics, automotive and aerospace roles, as well as administrative, finance and accounting, and technology positions. Its services are direct hire, temporary staffing, payrolled temps, temp-to-perm, staffing and safety assessments, and an on-site partner program, in which a dedicated recruiter or team is physically present at the client to run its staffing operation. It says it began its first on-site staffing initiative in 1991 with a Fortune 500 automotive company.

Coast Personnel has offices in California and in other states, including Texas, North Carolina and Alabama. Its first out-of-state office opened in Dallas in 1999. It says the average tenure of its employees is more than ten years.
