Chapman Tate Associates is an independent IT and technology recruitment company based in Birmingham. It was founded in 2014 by Austin Shields, who leads the business. It provides permanent, contract, interim and freelance hiring, along with executive search for CTO, CIO, CISO and other technology leadership roles, and salary benchmarking and talent mapping.

The company recruits across seven technology markets: digital transformation and change, PropTech and ConTech, SaaS and IT sales, cloud and infrastructure, development and test, cyber and information security, and enterprise resource planning (ERP). Its ERP work covers SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday and Sage roles. Its contractors are available inside and outside IR35.

It serves clients across the West Midlands and the rest of the UK, and recruits globally across EMEA, the GCC, APAC and the USA. It says most permanent shortlists are delivered within five working days, and reports 99% client retention over the past five years and 83% of new clients coming through referrals.
