About the Agency
Chadwick Nott is a legal recruitment agency founded in Bristol in 1992. It has offices in London, Bristol, Reading, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds, and places candidates in legal jobs across the UK. A team of consultants also recruits for positions overseas, including in Europe, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
In private practice it works with boutique and niche law firms as well as national, US and global firms, filling roles from trainee solicitor, NQ solicitor and associate to legal director, partner, legal executive and paralegal. Its in-house team places General Counsel, Legal Counsel, Document Review Lawyer and Company Secretary roles in start-ups, SMEs, PLCs and global companies. In the public sector it often places interim legal staff with government departments, housing associations, universities, charities and the NHS.
It says its consultants all come from a relevant legal background. It reports that 244 lawyers found a new job through it in 2023 and that its team filled 90 interim roles that year.
