CER Education

CER Education recruits teaching and classroom support staff for schools across the UK. It specialises in temporary staffing for primary, secondary and SEND schools, and also supplies permanent staff to schools, academies, colleges, nurseries and free schools, from early years to further education. Its work includes teaching assistant and early career teacher roles.

CER is part of Affinity Workforce Solutions. It records that Capita became CER Education in September 2017. It delivers managed service solutions to schools through the Government Commercial Agency and works with multi academy trusts on temporary teaching and non-teaching roles. It is also an approved tuition partner on the National Tutoring Programme.

The company says it has seven branches across England, covering North West and Wales, North East, South and Yorkshire. Offices are in Darlington, Hull, Newcastle, Liverpool, Sheffield, Luton and York.
