Century Group

Century Group is a recruitment and staffing firm for accounting, finance and HR roles. Harry Boxer founded it in 1989 as a small, Southern California-based executive recruiting firm, and Ron Proul is its chief executive officer.

The firm offers direct hire services, which it also calls executive recruiting, and professional staffing. In 2003 it applied its executive recruiting methodology to staffing, placing accounting and finance professionals on contract, contract-to-hire or interim assignments. The direct hire and staffing practices were merged in 2007. It says it covers needs from on-demand contract assignments to C suite-level permanent hires, and that it serves clients from start-ups to Global 1000 firms.

Century Group has six offices, in Southern California, Walnut Creek, California and Denver, Colorado. The El Segundo office, opened in 1989, is described as its flagship.
