Central Coast Group Training

Central Coast Group Training is a not-for-profit organisation based in Tuggerah, New South Wales, that works as both a group training organisation and an employment agency. It was established in 1981 and says it specialises in employee recruitment, training and management. It reports placing more than 4,000 people into medium to long term employment.

As a group training organisation, it employs apprentices and trainees and places them with host employers, and an apprentice may stay with one host or rotate between several businesses. It says it employs more than 160 apprentices and trainees each year and is the largest local employer of them. It manages their payroll, workplace health and safety, workers compensation and superannuation, and coordinates and monitors training progress, with on-site support, mentoring and career planning advice. Apprenticeship and traineeship areas include automotive, carpentry, engineering, civil construction, landscaping construction, process manufacturing, warehouse and logistics, business administration, and childcare and early childhood.

Its recruitment service fills part-time and full-time roles for employers, with recruiters handling advertising, screening and selection. The organisation serves the Central Coast region and its CEO is Alison Cook.
