CBC Staff Selection

CBC Staff Selection is a recruitment consultancy with offices in Cairns and Townsville, serving Far North Queensland. It was established in 1988 by Dennis Howe and has been owned since 2004 by Sally Mlikota, who is Owner and Managing Director. It describes itself as locally owned and operated.

The company fills temporary, permanent and contract roles in executive, finance and accounting, human resources, legal, IT, marketing, administration, engineering and technical, and community services. Its clients range from small businesses to large corporates and government organisations, and it is a preferred recruitment supplier to several Queensland councils and the Port of Townsville. Employer services include outplacement, shortlisting, panel interviews and psychometric assessments.

The Townsville office opened in 2014. The company says it has ten recruitment specialists. It holds ISO 9001 quality certification and became an RCSA corporate member in 2017.
