Castlefield Recruitment

Castlefield Recruitment is a recruitment business serving the public sector, with offices in Manchester and Leeds. It says it was founded in 2013 and presents its three directors, Nick Ogden, Chris Oldfield and Jack Barnes, as its founders. The business began in a flat in Castlefield and later moved to offices in Manchester's Northern Quarter and Leeds' Financial Quarter.

It recruits across twelve specialisms: executive search, finance and accounting, HR and OD, procurement and supply chain, housing and property services, healthcare and clinical, transformation and change, IT, tech and digital, communications and engagement, governance and risk, estates and facilities, and business support and admin.

In housing and property services it places interim and permanent professionals from entry to board level, in roles covering assets, compliance, development and neighbourhoods. It works with housing associations, local authorities and property management companies. Its clients also include Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
