Canopy

Canopy is a recruitment and staffing firm that offers retained, contingency and consulting services. Its specialist recruiting teams cover legal and compliance, human resources and administrative roles, C-suite and executive leadership, information technology, accounting and finance, manufacturing and engineering, and healthcare and medical technology.

The company works with a team vertical approach, in which each recruiting team focuses on one functional area. For example, the person supporting a CFO hire does not recruit IT project managers. Canopy describes its work as analytic-driven sourcing and recruiting, using data from its own technologies and methods. It says each candidate has multiple touchpoints and three levels of screening.

The team is made up of people with both corporate and agency staffing backgrounds. Greg Wykoff and Teresa Petruccelli are its founders and managing partners. The headquarters is in New York.
