Butler Bureau Schweiz

Butler Bureau Schweiz is a placement agency for household staff, serving upscale private households and family offices. It places butlers, housekeepers, housekeeper couples, nannies, chauffeurs, private cooks and household helpers. For family offices it also places staff from estate managers to private cooks, including for several residences at once, and staff who travel with the family.

The agency advises employers on their requirements, selects candidates and supports the process until the hire is made. For family offices it draws up a staffing concept covering all residences, preselects candidates from its own pool and from external applicants, leaves the final interviews to the client, and assists with onboarding, contract drafting and long-term staff development. Mag. Claudia Schlegel advises family offices confidentially on their staffing set-up.

Butler Bureau says it has 15 years of experience in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Its Swiss service regions are Zürich, Geneva, Basel, Bern and Lausanne, and for international placements it names the DACH region, Italy, Spain and the Philippines. It also runs training courses for household staff, including «Exklusives Haushaltsmanagement» and «Butler/Housemanager». Its Swiss office is in Baar.
