Built Recruitment

Built Recruitment is a South African recruitment agency that specialises in construction, covering civil engineering, building and industrial work. It recruits consulting engineers, quantity surveyors and architectural staff, as well as other built environment personnel. It has operated since 2003 and works with construction companies in South Africa, sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. It also has associate partners in Europe and the USA.

The agency is headed by John Clutten and is based in Cape Town. It is a member of NPA Worldwide, a network that describes itself as 400 firms with 1400 recruiters in 35 countries, which the agency uses for searches abroad. Clients can engage it on a retainer basis, with an agreed process and regular feedback. It offers a 12-month candidate replacement programme and discounts on repeat assignments. Client companies pay its fees, and it does not charge individual job seekers.
