Buildability Group

Buildability Group is a recruitment company for the construction and engineering sectors, based in Bondi Junction, New South Wales. It offers permanent recruitment and trades and labour hire, and works across construction, civil infrastructure, landscaping, sub-contractors, rail and client-side project management.

Simon Whiteside, whose background is in construction, and David Shapiro, a recruiter in construction, engineering and property, have grown the business since 2013. The company says its leadership team has over 50 years of combined construction and recruitment industry knowledge, and that it is part of a candidate network in Australia and internationally.

Specialist desks cover landscape construction and maintenance, facilities, building and asset management, and manufacturing, where roles include fitters, mechanical technicians, electrical engineers and maintenance managers. The facilities desk recruits on contract, permanent and executive search mandates. Landscape recruitment runs across Australia, with networks in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane.
