Black Cherry Recruitment is a recruitment consultancy specialising in public relations, public affairs, communications and marketing roles. It serves the North of England and Scotland, and is based in Manchester.

Its clients include PLCs, SMEs, public sector bodies and PR and integrated marketing agencies. It places candidates from graduate to director level.

Helen Salt founded the company in 2009 and leads it as director. She began her career in PR and marketing, working in agency and in-house positions, before moving into PR recruitment. In 2005 she joined a national marketing recruitment consultancy, where she built its northern PR recruitment offering, before launching her own consultancy.
