Birchwell Associates

Birchwell Associates is a recruitment business covering technology, digital product design and renewable energy. It describes itself as boutique and says clients work directly with the people responsible for the search, the process and the outcome.

In technology it recruits for software development roles, including backend, frontend, full-stack and SaaS engineering, and for IT infrastructure and cloud roles such as networking, IT support, platform and technical leadership. It also fills UX, UI, product design, research and design systems positions. In renewable energy it recruits across the UK for solar, battery storage, electrical, EV, heat-pump and clean-energy businesses, from technical installation staff to leadership and operations appointments.

The company says it supports clients across the UK, Europe and the Americas, and that its talent network spans the UK, Europe and beyond. Its process runs from understanding the role through search and candidate assessment to managing interviews, offers and onboarding. Connor Maidment is a Director and Megan Atkinson is Director of Operations.
