Better People

Better People is a recruitment agency that specialises in the Education sector, placing staff with schools and with service-based businesses in education across Australia. It is based in Melbourne, and its director is Liam Davis.

It recruits teachers (primary, secondary and ELC), education support staff and teacher aides, heads of department, administration staff, technical support staff, and executive and school leadership roles.

Each search starts with a vacancy consultation covering the client's team, leadership structure and role requirements. Candidates are sourced through the AI-powered LOXO database, LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Talent Search, talent networks, referrals and advertising on job boards. The agency presents candidate profiles by phone or video call, helps coordinate interviews, carries out reference checks and assists with offer management. It also books check-ins with the candidate and hiring manager from the start date for up to 180 days.
