Bennett Staff

Bennett Staff is an independently owned and operated recruitment agency based in Hyde, serving Tameside, Greater Manchester and much of the North West. It was established in 1958 as Bennett Secretarial Services, founded by the late Roy Bennett, and says it has worked in the Tameside area for over 66 years. It is led by Managing Director Claire Wolstenholme and Operations Director Robbie Harrison.

The agency recruits temporary and permanent staff, and also fills contract roles. It acts as an employment agency for permanent staff and as an employment business for temporary workers. Its sectors are commercial and office work, industrial and distribution, catering and hospitality, with specialist areas for manufacturing, hospitality and catering, office and industrial recruitment.

Office roles include personal assistants, legal secretaries, receptionists and customer service advisors. Manufacturing roles include CNC machinists, welders and fabricators, production operatives and forklift drivers. Its stated mission is to match local people to local work.
