Benchmark Recruit

Benchmark Recruit is a specialist recruitment consultancy that has served Sheffield since 2006. It works with businesses and jobseekers across Sheffield, South Yorkshire and beyond, and says it also works with office support candidates across the whole of the UK.

The company focuses on commercial, office-based roles, from office junior up to Director level. Its main specialisms are office support, finance, HR, marketing, IT, sales and management. Its clients come from the private, public and third sectors, including charities.

Benchmark Recruit fills permanent, temporary and contract positions. For clients it advises on job descriptions and adverts, gives salary and benefits guidance, screens and interviews candidates, shortlists applicants and offers negotiation support, as well as help with inductions and retention. In 2025 it launched Benchmark Pathways, a coaching consultancy offering career development support.
