Bauer Consulting Group

Bauer Consulting Group is an independently owned and operated executive search firm headquartered in El Paso, Texas. It opened in 2007 as a management recruiter and specialises in the manufacturing and food processing industries, recruiting nationwide. It says it serves these industries across North America, with a niche focus on maintenance recruiting. Its location on the US/Mexico border, it says, gives it a perspective on the Mexican maquiladora industry.

The firm fills production operations roles such as plant manager, production supervisor, quality manager and supply chain manager, along with administrative roles including finance controller, human resource manager and procurement manager. Through The Bakery Recruiter, it places bakers, plant managers and bakery maintenance mechanics with independent, privately held commercial bakeries in the United States.

Clients can use a search service called Priority Engaged, which starts with a non-refundable $5,000 deposit credited to the final invoice, with a total fee of 25 percent of the first year's base salary. Other options are Bauer on Demand, a sourcing, screening and qualifying service for a monthly fee, and The Recruiting Advisor, where the firm posts jobs, contacts candidates and screens applicants' resumes.
