Barker Morris Legal Search is a boutique legal recruitment consultancy serving lawyers, law firms and in-house legal teams across the UK, with particular strength in the Midlands. It was founded in 2021 by Kelly Barker and Neelam Morris, who both have legal backgrounds and met while working for one of the world's largest recruitment agencies.
For law firms, it carries out retained headhunt searches for Partners and Department Heads, and contingent recruitment for Associates and Senior Associates, across the whole range of practice areas. Its law firm clients range from national and international firms to small boutique practices.
On the in-house side, it says it has completed projects for companies from start-ups to the FTSE 100, in sectors including IT, healthcare, manufacturing, financial services and real estate. It recruits at all levels, from NQ Legal Counsel to Head of Legal and General Counsel, and works with lawyers from Trainee Solicitors and Associates to Partners and General Counsel.
