Bambino and Butler

Bambino and Butler is a recruitment agency for childcare and household staff, based in London. It describes itself as a boutique agency and says it places staff across the UK and internationally.

The agency recruits nannies, babysitters, maternity nurses, private household staff and international staff. Its household roles range from housekeeping to chefs. Its job listings cover permanent and temporary positions, live in and live out, and rota and weekend nanny roles.

It says candidates are registered face to face, or by Skype when they cannot meet at its London office, and that its consultants are either mothers or have worked in childcare themselves. Candidates submit references, which the agency checks with previous employers, and must hold a valid DBS check or have one in process before being sent to clients. It works as an introductory agency, offering sample contracts but not writing contracts on behalf of families.
