Aurec is an IT recruitment business with offices in Sydney, Canberra, Gold Coast and Melbourne. It says its team includes more than 50 specialist recruiters who work with both clients and candidates.

The company places candidates on permanent and contract terms. Its other services are consulting, professional services, visa and migration services for candidates and clients, contract management, and payroll management and salary packaging. For technology programmes it also supplies technical experts on a contract or permanent basis and specialised overseas resources.

Aurec holds an on-hire labour agreement that lets it sponsor overseas workers on a temporary basis in certain eligible occupations and assign them to clients. It is ISO9001 accredited and a member of the RCSA and the NSW Business Chamber. It says it has maintained profitability and growth for the last 20 years, and that its recruiters speak with 145 candidates each per week on average.
