Ara Auckland Airport Jobs and Skills Hub is a precinct-based workforce partner dedicated to connecting South Auckland people with real employment opportunities across the Auckland Airport precinct. Operating for over a decade, Ara provides free, end-to-end recruitment support to both jobseekers and employers, including job matching, onboarding, and in-work support. The organisation works alongside precinct employers, the Ministry of Social Development, Auckland Airport, and the South Auckland community to turn proximity into possibility, ensuring that opportunity reaches local people at no cost to employers or jobseekers.

Ara specialises in connecting talent across multiple sectors within the Auckland Airport precinct, including aviation, logistics, construction, retail, and hospitality. The organisation delivers three core pathways: Pathways In, which offers programmes and career pathways helping rangatahi and local communities prepare for work; Pathways Into Work, providing free recruitment support from role scoping and candidate screening to placement and in-work support; and Pathways Up, delivering skills, certifications, and progression support to help people build long-term careers and grow their capability over time.

Based at the Auckland Airport precinct in South Auckland, Ara has established itself as a trusted partner for over 125 precinct employers, having placed more than 1,440 people into employment and supported 1,700 rangatahi into employment pathways.
