Atomic Talent is a recruitment business that helps companies hire scientists, with a focus on biotech roles. It was founded by Tom Bilton in 2023, who has spent the last 11 years building teams in the biotech, pharma and medtech industries.

Its clients include seed and Series A/B biotechs, scale-ups with clinical pipelines, academic spin-outs and translational research groups, pharma R&D units and CRO/CMO partners, and VC operating teams and scientific advisory boards. Its process runs through discovery, search and sourcing, shortlisting and screening, and hiring and onboarding, which covers offer management, salary negotiation and post-start check-ins.

Clients can choose an exclusive partnership, a retained assignment for single hires at C-suite, VP or director level, or a fractional recruitment partner arrangement for companies making five or more hires.
