ASR Recruitment is a Newcastle-based recruitment agency launched in 2018. It says it set out to challenge the large, profit-driven recruitment firms that dominate the local market. Jessica Wagstaff is General Manager, and the team reports more than 100 years of combined experience.

The agency provides permanent, contract and temporary recruitment, along with executive recruitment, on-site recruitment and RPO. It recruits in accounting and finance, technology, engineering, construction, human resources, and marketing and communications. It also covers safety, procurement, transport and logistics, manufacturing, legal and risk, administration and customer service. Business and office support roles include personal and executive assistants, receptionists, document control and data entry.

It operates across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, with consultants also covering the Central Coast, and says its networks extend across the country. It reports that most of its successful placements come from its own networks, referrals and networking. Its office is on Hannell Street in Wickham, NSW.
