Arbeidskwartier

Arbeidskwartier is a Dutch bemiddelingsbureau based at Kabelweg 1 in Huizen, specialised in the care sector and registered under KVK number 85398373. Its founder, Abdelhalim Labboui, originally wanted to be a bookkeeper, but changed direction once he realised it meant sitting still all day. Seventeen years ago he was a regular at the youth centre in his neighbourhood in Amersfoort, where caring for others appealed to him, and when a friend asked him to stand in as a supporting counsellor at a school the choice was quickly made. From the years of experience that followed he concluded that alongside what goes well in Dutch care there is also a great deal of room for improvement, because with a large shortage of good staff the people deployed in care are not always qualified for the job.

The company works only in care and names the fields it covers: ambulante zorg, jeugdzorg, gehandicaptenzorg, psychiatrie, speciaal onderwijs and leerlingenbegeleiding.
