Apprento

Apprento is a hiring and sales education platform for business-to-business technology companies in New Zealand. It helps employers assess their sales teams, hire salespeople and develop existing staff through training. It also creates pathways for jobseekers who want to start a career in tech sales.

On the hiring side, the company says every hire comes with 12 months of training. Its assessment work is data-driven and aims to show where gaps lie in a client's revenue function. Development combines tailored education, group coaching and one-to-one mentoring.

Apprento was started by co-founders Alex McNaughten and Scott Freeman, who aimed to professionalise B2B sales in tech, beginning in New Zealand. It says it is partnered with more than 50 New Zealand tech businesses.
