About the Agency
Anderson Knight is an independent recruitment consultancy based in Glasgow city centre. It specialises in Accountancy and Finance, HR, Business Support, Technical, Procurement and Executive Search. Its consultants work at all career levels and place candidates in permanent and temporary roles.
John Shane founded the business in 2001, initially focusing solely on the Accountancy and Finance market, and later diversified it. He still has an active role in the company. Steven Woods joined as a trainee in 2003 and became joint owner in 2010. Gillian Pate joined in 2013 in the Oil and Gas division, became a director in 2017 and started the HR division.
The company says it aims to build long-term partnerships with both candidates and clients, and that it takes a comprehensive approach rather than focusing solely on fees.
