Amt Werkt

Amt Werkt is a Dutch staffing business based in Leuth, between Nijmegen and the Betuwe, that places skilled workers with companies in the green sector, construction, insulation and technical trades. The name stands for Aandacht voor Mens en Talent, meaning attention for people and talent. It was founded on 1 May 2017.

It fills roles such as gardeners, insulation fitters, scaffolders, welders and construction workers. Candidates come from the local region, from people with refugee status starting afresh, and from experienced tradespeople recruited through fixed partners in Europe. For workers who travel far, it arranges SNF-certified housing, transport and guidance. It handles recruitment and selection, contracts, payroll and guidance, and says it is SNA-certified.

It offers training such as VCA and BBL programmes, often together with clients, and says some workers move on to permanent jobs with the employer. The company describes itself as a small, fixed team. It reports being active since 2017, having helped nearly 300 people into work and working with more than 90 clients in Gelderland and beyond.
