Ambition24hours Locums and Allied is the medical and allied health division of A24 Group Ltd, a privately owned healthcare staffing group operating across three continents. It places locum doctors, GP locums and allied health professionals, supplying NHS trusts and private healthcare providers across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Internationally it works through A24 Group operations in the USA and South Africa.

The business was founded in 1996 by Penny Streeter OBE and her mother, Marion Hewson. Its services cover locum and temporary staffing for ad hoc shifts and long-term assignments, allied health professionals such as radiographers and physiotherapists, and international recruitment of doctors and allied health professionals, including visa assistance and relocation support. Specialties range from emergency medicine to mental health.

Its team operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from an office in Sutton, Surrey. The company is a signatory to the Department of Health and Social Care Code of Practice for the International Recruitment of Health and Social Care Personnel, and uses a Compliance Passport platform to keep candidate documentation current.
