Amaru is a recruitment business based in East Boston, Massachusetts, that focuses on artificial intelligence and quantum computing. It works mainly with startups, often venture-backed, and recruits AI and machine learning engineers, ML infrastructure engineers, product managers and go-to-market leaders in sales, marketing and customer success. On the quantum side it fills roles such as hardware engineers, simulation engineers, compiler developers, quantum machine learning researchers and DevTools engineers.

Its main offer is a 21-Day Priority Sprint, in which it aims to deliver three vetted candidates or return a $1,000 refundable deposit, which is credited against its success fee. It says every candidate passes a three-stage internal screen and that it rejects 90% of candidates. Its recruiting work covers sourcing, screening, interview support and offer negotiation.

Amaru also offers job search coaching, a job board where employers can post roles for free, and a free newsletter of hand-picked openings. Founder Arturo Natella started it as a job listserv, and the company states its mission as fostering equity and inclusion in the workforce.
