AlliedUP Co is a healthcare staffing business set up as a worker-member owned cooperative. It supplies allied health, nursing and medical staff to healthcare providers in California and nationwide, and its office is in Los Angeles.

It recruits for clinical roles, from allied health professionals to frontline caregivers, and for non-clinical roles in operations and administration. It also places community health workers. Providers can use flexible assignments, a Pathway to Placement in which workers start on assignment and can move into a permanent role, or Direct Impact Hire, where candidates are recruited and prepared before joining the client directly. It also works through an Employer-of-Record model, and its Talent Incubator programme gives workers coaching, mentorship and job-readiness training.

Workers who join the cooperative elect its board, shape company decisions and share in annual dividends. It partners with organisations including SEIU-UHW and Futuro Health on its healthcare workforce pipeline.
