Aksend is a Dutch werving en selectie company that promises to provide a client with their extra strength, and its stated aim is to do more than find the perfect match. The business came about more than twenty years ago and has grown into an organisation with a strong and reliable network across the provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe and the Zwolle region. Its personal approach has been the core of the service from the beginning and still characterises the company today, and it deliberately invests time and attention in both clients and professionals because it believes in involvement and durable cooperation. Alongside placing people it holds active conversations about ambitions, opportunities and developments in the labour market, which is how it positions itself as a sparring partner that thinks ahead rather than only an intermediary.

Aksend is active in five specific function areas: finance, controlling, accountancy, belastingadvies and management. The vacancies it publishes show what that means in practice, including a part time financial administrative employee, a relatiemanager covering Groningen or Leeuwarden, a senior assistant accountant in assurance in Leeuwarden and a controleleider for 32 to 40 hours a week in Groningen or Leeuwarden. Aksend works across the north of the Netherlands, with roles concentrated in Groningen, Leeuwarden and the Zwolle region, and its client list ranges from accountancy practices and care organisations to listed companies and businesses in the international food industry.
