Agricultural Appointments

Agricultural Appointments is an Australian recruitment firm specialising in agribusiness, wine, and food manufacturing and retail. It says its track record began in 1979 and that it has over 40 years of specialist industry experience. The firm covers the agri-food chain, including livestock, broad acre, grains, horticulture, animal health, food production and wine, and recruits from senior executives and middle management to graduates and farmhands.

Its services are recruitment, executive search, outplacement and psychometric testing. It says candidates are assessed by human recruiters rather than AI. The company reports a database of over 200,000 candidates. It also says each team member holds qualifications in agricultural science or a related discipline, or has deep knowledge of the sector they serve, and has worked client-side across the supply chain.

Headquartered in Sydney, the firm has offices in Newcastle, Queensland and Victoria, and works across New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and beyond. Dr Ray Johnson is Managing Director and Brett Price is a Director.
