Agency 8

Agency 8 is a boutique recruiting firm based in Texas, with its corporate address in Houston. It describes itself as a specialised staffing agency based in Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth, whose recruiters specialise in the oil and gas, manufacturing, logistics, engineering, industrial and construction industries. It also recruits across finance, human resources, technical, administrative and operations roles, and says it helps manufacturers fill specialised positions.

Rebecca Nutt started the firm in 2008 and is its CEO. It is woman-owned and operated, and a certified WBEA business. The company works as a headhunter, going to where candidates are, and says it puts candidates through an eight-step screening process that checks fit for both the role and the client's culture. Its in-house certified HR consultants can also advise clients on business strategy and compliance.
