Advanced Personnel is a New Zealand owned and operated recruitment consultancy, established in 1987. Its founder, Geoff Densem, had placed temporary engineering staff in Christchurch while working at a multinational recruiter. He registered the business in September 1987, and its engineering division was the foundation of the company.
It supplies on-hire temporary staff and permanent placements, and also offers dedicated staff resourcing and executive leasing. Its divisions cover Engineering and Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Construction, Food Processing and Logistics, Hospitality, and Business Support and IT. Roles include fitter turners, welders, carpenters, electricians, forklift operators, chefs, accountants and IT analysts. It bought an established commercial recruitment company in 1995 and expanded into hospitality in 2002.
The head office is in Christchurch, with other offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Hawke's Bay, Nelson, Invercargill and Palmerston North. The company says its consultants are available 24/7 and that it holds a nationwide and global database of clients, temporary staff and applicants.
