Acumin

Acumin is a recruitment firm specialising in cyber security, with executive search and digital consultancy alongside. It was established in 1998 and trades as Acumin by Red Snapper Recruitment, part of Red Snapper Group, after merging with Red Snapper Recruitment in July 2015. Its office is in Poole, Dorset.

The company works across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the United States, for end user security and technology teams, security vendors, systems integrators and consultancies, and the public sector. It offers executive search, permanent and contract recruitment. Having started in information security, it now also hires across engineering, data, infrastructure and senior leadership roles, as well as sales and marketing roles.

Volume and mid-level roles run through AI Talent Access, which produces ranked shortlists on demand. Senior and business-critical appointments run through human-led, confidential Executive Search. In the public sector it places into cleared roles in central and local government and with prime contractors. It says it is ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certified.
