Accountable Recruitment

Accountable Recruitment is a recruitment firm established in 2010 by Simon Massey, who is its founder and Managing Director. It supports a wide range of North West and North Wales businesses and says it works all over the UK. It has four offices in the North West, in Liverpool, Manchester, Chester and Warrington, and one in Dublin.

The firm recruits for executive and senior leadership, accountancy and finance, practice, interim management and public sector roles, on both interim and permanent bases. In 2022 Adaptable Recruitment joined the business to cover HR, transactional finance, office support and administration, marketing and business development, and other wider business roles.

Accountable also hosts a regional Executive and FD Club and an HRD Club, and runs the Finance Director of the Year Awards alongside partners KPMG, Brabners and HSBC Bank.
