About the Agency
About Staffing is a Calgary-based staffing and recruitment agency that has served Alberta since 1996. It describes itself as locally owned and operated, and says it also offers staffing solutions to businesses across Canada, in any industry and at any position level. Its CEO and founder is Sharlene Massie.
The agency fills temporary, temporary to direct hire and direct hire positions, from junior to executive level. Its corporate division covers roles such as accountants, administrative assistants, business analysts, legal assistants, HR coordinators, sales representatives and software developers, and it also lists executive search. Its industrial division covers construction workers, drivers, field technicians, general labourers, mechanics, warehouse associates and journeyman and Red Seal tradespeople.
The company says every candidate it presents is met face to face and vetted, and that it matches people to organisations rather than only matching resumes to job descriptions. It reports having supported thousands of organisations, and says it never charges job seekers a fee. Its head office is in Calgary.
